AI trading software · by Capacitr
AI trading software for people who already trade
If you already trade actively, you do not need an app to explain what a stock is. You need software that fits your workflow: the platforms you use, the markets you trade, what it costs per trade and whether you can plug in your own AI. Here is how six products compare on those terms.
Free on iOS 16.4+, Android and the web. Not financial advice. Trading involves risk of loss.

Three layers
Where AI fits in a trading stack
Execution
The broker or venue. tastytrade is a full broker; Capacitr routes to Hyperliquid, Polymarket and tokenized-stock venues.
Decision
The agent or strategy engine. Catalyst runs workflows; Supertake builds portfolios from a thesis.
Research
News, filings and portfolio analysis. Button runs briefs and risk scans; Capacitr matches headlines to markets.

AI trading software compared
Platforms, markets and fees from each company’s own pages, checked November 7, 2026.
| App | Platforms | Markets | Pricing | How AI is used |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capacitr Our app | iOS, Android, web. | Perpetual futures (Hyperliquid), prediction markets (Polymarket), tokenized US stocks (Robinhood Chain, Base). | Free app. Venues charge their own fees. | News-to-trade assistant: matches breaking posts and articles to the markets they move, writes a thesis with sources and can fill in a ticket. |
| Supertake | Web. | Stocks and ETFs. Crypto depends on the connected broker. | No subscription or commission for now; it says fees may be added later. | Turns a plain-English investing thesis (a “take”) into a portfolio. Takes can be shared and forked. |
| Catalyst | Web. | Spot tokens, perpetuals, tokenized stocks, prediction markets (Polymarket). | Free during its research preview. Later pricing not stated. | Autonomous agents turn a plain-English strategy into a workflow that watches signals and trades. |
| tastytrade | Desktop, web, iOS, Android. | Stocks, ETFs, options, futures, crypto, event contracts. | $0 stock trades; options $1 per contract to open (max $10 per leg), $0 to close; crypto 1%. | No built-in agent. An official MCP server lets an AI assistant you bring (such as Claude) read your account and send orders. |
| Autopilot | iOS (an Android listing exists but was not verified). | Stocks and ETFs. | Free tier; premium reported at $29 a quarter or $100 a year (May 2025 press; current pricing not verified). | Mainly copy-trading portfolios (“Pilots”) that track experts, 13F filings and politicians, plus AI portfolios. |
| Button (Tailor) | Web, with push and Telegram alerts. | Stocks, crypto and Hyperliquid perpetuals. | Not published. | AI research assistant that analyzes your portfolio and data, runs scheduled briefs and risk scans, and drafts trades. |
Bring your own AI
MCP and the do-it-yourself route
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets an AI assistant connect to outside tools. tastytrade publishes an official MCP server, so an assistant such as Claude can read your positions and send orders with a preview.
This gives you control over the model and prompts, but you are the one supervising it. tastytrade itself notes that the same AI that places an order can also confirm it, and some actions skip confirmation.
Packaged products like Capacitr, Button and Catalyst build the loop for you: sources, reasoning and execution in one interface, with their own confirmation rules.
About our app
How Capacitr works
Capacitr, our app, runs on iOS, Android and the web, with one portfolio view across venues. Based on its App Store listing and support page.
Self-custodial
Capacitr is not an exchange, does not hold your funds and is never the counterparty to your trades. You approve a trading key for your own wallet, and every fill links to the venue’s explorer.
Asks before it signs
The assistant can suggest a trade and fill in the ticket. Nothing is placed until you confirm, and Capacitr tells you what is sent to its AI providers before your first question.
